Slide left & right to catch mochi! At a roof-raising ceremony, red and white mochi, gold mochi, five-yen coins, and candy come flying off the roof. Drag your basket left and right to catch them, and dodge the stones and socks. Beat the neighborhood auntie who swoops in to snatch your haul. The Shower kicks off at 30 seconds, and the finale rains gold mochi all at once in this 45-second showdown.
How to play
Controls: Drag left or right anywhere on the screen to move the basket. On PC, drag with the mouse or use the left/right arrow keys or A/D. Items only count if they drop into the basket's mouth from above. Hit the rim and they bounce off. Points: Mochi 100, candy 150, five-yen coin 200, gold mochi 500. Stones are −200 and make the basket wobble for about 0.5 s. Socks are −100. Keep catching to build a combo. Every 10 combo raises your multiplier by 0.2 (up to ×3). Drop a good item or let Auntie grab one and the combo breaks. After 10 mochi the basket gets heavy, and at 20 it gets even heavier and lags behind. At 30 they go into a bag and it's light again. Auntie shows up at 20 seconds. If your basket is right under the item she's after, you beat her to it. Catch it for +50 pts. Points are ×1.5 during the Shower. Catch the rare rainbow mochi (1000 pts) tossed during it to trigger FEVER, doubling points for the rest of the Shower.
