GameRush: free browser games you can swipe through, one after another
GameRush is a game service where you swipe through mini games that run in your browser, one after another, just like scrolling through short videos. Tap a game that catches your eye and it starts right away. No install, no sign-up. Whether it's a few spare minutes on the train or a little break before bed, there's always a new game waiting for you here.
Start playingWhat is GameRush?
GameRush is packed with browser games made by independent creators and small teams. From timing games that are over in a few dozen seconds to roguelikes and RPGs you can really settle into, there's a wide range of genres and sizes. Finished one? Just swipe sideways to meet the next.
All you need to play is the browser on your phone or computer. No app to download: you can play the moment the page opens. Add it to your home screen from the browser menu, and next time it opens with a single tap, just like an app.
- FreePlaying games and publishing your own are both free. There are no in-app purchases.
- No installGames run right in your browser, so you can play without putting an app on your device.
- No sign-in neededYou can play every game without creating an account.
- Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional)Switch the display language anytime in settings.
Easy to play
Open the feed and you'll find games laid out as cards. Swipe left and right to browse, and when you spot one you want to play, tap the card. The game expands to fill the screen and starts right away.
While you play, every tap and swipe goes to the game. When you feel like moving on, press and hold the bar at the bottom of the screen. You're back on the card screen, and the game you were playing pauses right where it is. Game controls and feed swipes never get in each other's way, so you can go all out even in action games.
Open a landscape game on your phone and the layout switches to landscape automatically. You can switch back and forth anytime with the “Play in landscape” button.
- Game details: Swipe up on a card to see the game's description, its creator, its play count, and the creator's policy on streaming and let's plays.
- Likes: Leave a like on the games you enjoy.
- Share: Send a game you love to friends with a link that opens on that game. On your phone, you can send it straight to LINE or social media from your device's share sheet.
GameRush for every moment
- In spare momentsEven a few minutes waiting for a train is just right for games with short rounds. Simply browsing the cards is exciting too, as you see what kinds of games are out there.
- On nights you want to dig inThere are games you can really settle into, like roguelikes and RPGs. Like the ones you enjoy, and you can jump right back to them from your library.
- When you want to have fun with friendsCompete for high scores in games with leaderboards, or share the games you had a blast with. Comments with screenshots let you swap thoughts on what you played.
- When you want something newCheck out games you haven't played yet in features and trending new games.
Your next favorite game is waiting
The home screen lines up recommendations for you, new games, and popular games lots of people have been playing lately. If you're signed in, you can also jump right back into games you played before. Recommendations gradually adapt to the games you play, so there's something new to discover every time you open it.
The order of the feed changes a little every time, too. Instead of only putting popular games on top, we make sure you also run into games that haven't been played much yet and games you haven't seen. Stumbling onto an unexpected gem is part of the fun of GameRush.
When you already know what you want to play, search by game title or creator name.
Pick by theme with features
In Features, the GameRush team picks games around a theme and introduces them. Browse articles by category, such as Action, Puzzle & Quiz, Sports, Cozy, New releases, and Creators, or by tag, and check the ranking of the most-read features. You can play the games in an article back to back with “Play them all”, so you can enjoy a whole theme in one go.
The fun keeps going after you play
On GameRush, screenshots are the stars of comments. You're not limited to the moment you paused: rewind a little and pick your best shot. Draw on it with a pen or crop it to what you want to show, then attach up to 4 images to your post. “This part was so hard!” “Check out this stage!” A single image gets it across.
You can reply to and like comments, and comments the creator liked get a mark. Creators can also pin one favorite comment to make it stand out. When you write tips or spoilers, add a spoiler mark and the content stays hidden until someone taps it.
In games with leaderboards, you can see daily, weekly, and monthly score rankings in the game's details. You can also see the players right above and below you, so you'll want to try just one more time to pass someone within reach.
Follow the creators you like. Their profile shows their icon, bio, links to social media, and the games they've published. You can look back at the people you follow anytime from your library.
Some games even let you play against other players online in real time.
Even handier with an account
You don't need an account just to play, but signing in opens up more ways to have fun. Sign up with a Google, Discord, or X account, or with a sign-in link sent to your email. There's no password to remember.
- Library: Look back at the games you liked, your play history and play time, your own comments, and the creators you follow, all in one place.
- Continue playing: Games you played recently show up on the home screen.
- Cloud saves: In supported games, your save data is also stored in your account, so you can pick up where you left off on another device.
- Notifications: Get notified about likes on your games and comments, replies to your comments, new follows, and more.
You can register multiple accounts in one browser and switch between them. Pick a light or dark theme, or match your device's setting.
Even when you're not signed in, the data a game saves stays in that browser, and you can join leaderboards as a “Guest”.
Play on LINE, too
GameRush also runs as a LINE Mini App. Add the GameRush LINE Official Account as a friend and you can open games right inside the LINE app, with nothing to install. You can sign in with your LINE account, too.
The Mini App has Home, Feed, Library, and profiles. Feature articles and Studio open in your browser.
Built so you can play with peace of mind
Each game runs on its own, separated from GameRush itself. Your email address and account information are never passed to games. You can also choose in settings whether your name and icon are shown inside games.
As a rule, games are listed only after the GameRush team checks their content. If you come across a game or comment that concerns you, you can report it from the menu, and if there's someone you'd rather not interact with, block them and their comments will no longer be shown.
For game creators
Want lots of people to play the game you made? On GameRush, anyone who signs in can publish their work. Uploads happen in Studio: just drag and drop your exported build folder or zip, and GameRush detects the engine and imports it automatically. Publishing is free, too.
- Unity: Builds exported for WebGL are supported. GameRush provides the player screen that shows loading progress.
- Godot: Single-threaded web exports from 4.3 onward are supported.
- Phaser games and HTML5 games that start from index.html can be published as they are, too.
You can provide thumbnails in three shapes, square, landscape, and portrait, and with a GIF or animated WebP they move right in the feed and catch the eye. Invite up to 9 collaborators and grow a game together as a team. You can also set, for each game, whether you welcome streaming and let's plays, and show it on the game.
After publishing, see how players respond with Studio analytics. Beyond play counts and play time, you can see the share of players who came back the next day or within 7 days, where they came from, and even load times and frame rates, so you're sure to find hints for your next update.
Features like leaderboards, real-time multiplayer, and sharing from inside the game can be built in with the GameRush SDK for Unity, Godot, and JavaScript.
Before publishing, the GameRush team checks your game. Once approved, you can make it public so anyone can play, or unlisted so only people with the URL can. Listing is non-exclusive, so you can keep publishing on other sites as usual.
In Studio, you can test-play your game on a phone-sized screen before publishing. Review results also arrive by email. Your profile can show your icon, bio, and links to social media and your website, so people get to know you along with your games.
