Tap the called card first! As the reader calls out a card, find it among the 12 cards laid out on the tatami and grab it before Granny, the karuta master sitting next to you. An original A-to-Z deck of relatable everyday moments. A wrong tap freezes your hands for 1 second, cards with the same first letter appear later on, and it all ends with a Final showdown. 45 seconds.
How to play
Controls: Tap a card to take it. On PC, click it with the mouse. The reader calls out the card one letter at a time. Find the card with the same first letter as the call and tap it. Points: 100 per card. Take it within 1 second of the call starting for +200, or within 2 seconds for +100. 3 cards in a row gives ×1.5, and 5 in a row gives ×2. Your streak ends if Granny takes a card or you tap the wrong one. A wrong card costs 50 points. Granny gets faster as time goes on: at first she grabs a card about 3.5 seconds after the call starts, and by the end it takes her only about 1.4 seconds. From 20 seconds in, two cards with the same first letter may be on the board. Wait until you hear the second letter before grabbing to avoid a wrong card. In the Final showdown during the last 10 seconds, the call stops after 2 letters and points are ×1.5.
